About Us The A.P.S. (Asuncion Protection Services, formerly The Alliance) was founded in 1999 by Jason Asuncion. His experience in the world of security began in the early 90's when he was employed by Faces disco, which was the premier party place in Manila. He rapidly rose to become the youngest head of security in the disco industry, and received extensive training in crowd control and VIP security. Following the closure of Faces in 1995 Mr. Asuncion became the chief of security of the Vintage Sports Group. When The A.P.S. began, most of the projects were based around VIP security. It steadily expanded into a broader based events security company covering a wide range of projects such as concerts, bar and store openings and private security needs. Today, employees of our company include former PNP and armed forces trained personnel, 'bouncers' from various entertainment venues around Manila, as well as many private body guards of prominent business men.
